First impression decoded
I was doing a grocery shopping yesterday. Typically I’m doing that once in a week and not on weekends, but yesterday it was an exception. While moving slowly I heard a toddler girl was screaming almost constantly. After about twenty minutes of the concert I was seriously annoyed. No, it was not only one toddler in the store, and those sometimes screamed too, but this one was exceptionally vocal. “Wow, I have to see what’s going on” I said to myself. About three minutes later I found the girl and her mom and dad. My heart flipped at that moment. She was dressed so good so I momentarily thought “Hey, tantrums come and go, but look at this dress!”. I couldn’t tell that the girl’s parents did not try to stop the issue, they did their best. Probably it was just a bad day. But yeah, I did not realize that the first impression is so important, and a big part of it is how you’re dressed.

Janie and Jack birthday sizing
Janie and Jack makes really cute birthday T-shirts for toddlers. The sizing is funny and very logical. If it’s “3″ on the front, the size available is 3T only. I want one but my girl is taller than she should be for her age. Why not do it in an unified 2T-4T size, so everyone can enjoy it? It should be ok, it’s a T-shirt for a toddler, not a custom-fitted red carpet dress.

Sizes start from XXS (good for 4-5 years old) and go all through XL (good for 16-18 years old), so I can get this one for myself and for my little one. The only concern is the sleeve length for me, I’ll see how good it will be. Women’s fleece hoodie goes for almost the same price, but the colors are better in kid’s version. On the other hand, women’s version is made of so called ’silky fleece’. There is a classic boy’s version too.
Rompers are big
Rompers are big this season for you and for your little one. I have an impression that they are as big as maxi dresses lately. I’m not blaming them, what can be a better weekender? Stylish, practical and suits almost everything you already have.
Gifts for Mom
I love clothes. One of the best gifts for me as a mom would be something like that. I know, they grow up so they won’t be able to get a use those up completely.
I also know that there are traditions to keep first baby shoes in your car in some countries. It will be fun to keep those Marc Jacobs mice for baby, so cute. There are funny Ts for boys too.
Sales! Sales!
Hooray, summer is just around the corner and sales hit the stores big time. Stella McCartney for kids is on sale already after being in stores only 3+ weeks. That’s pretty fast I must admit. Her first collection went on sale after two full months of full price presence. So if you didn’t get the Tiger or the Superhero Ts for your kids it’s just the right time to do so, although not all sizes are available.

Crazy8 finally ships outside the USA. More parents in more countries will have a chance to dress their brood in less expensive version of Gymboree from now on. There are no Crazy8 offline stores in Canada, for example. New collection is good, all green, blue, cream and orange.
