I currently look like some sort of monk because the top of my head is almost bald and the only hair that left (not for long, it comes out in handfuls every day) is on the side and back of my head.I used to be a professional actress, so I very familiar with using wigs. I recently purchased a human hair lace wig in a color that is close to what my natural hair is/was (auburn) and I looking forward to it arriving!I going to get a buzzcut this week to get rid of all the sad hair that left on my head. My endocrinologist has me on biotin and she says that it may take a year or so for healthy hair to grow back in.Although I not thrilled about any of this my entire life has been full of difficult medical/health issues and I refuse to allow this challenges to dampen my spirit and passion for life.I having some issues with finding a good wig cap though.
